These did what I wanted and look better (and are less expensive) than similar types that are just threaded bar. They seem adequately strong enough for my requirements. Only time will tell how long they will last without rusting as I assume the actual intended purpose for these items is to support an internal suspended floor system, judging by the machine screws supplied.
