I would say it can be done on your own but it’s so much easier & quicker building it with another person. So sturdy and comfortable. Yes I would recommend. Great price. Great quality. The screws that came with it were very poor quality so we had to abandon putting it together, however the seller very quickly sent us some high quality fixings that did the job beautifully. Apart from that the bench is VERY easy to assemble if you have two people. We've only had it a couple of weeks now and it looks great, lovely finish, very comfy. I am 5 foot 1 and can sit comfortably enough but it's definitely better if I use a cushion. My husband is 6 foot tall and says it's great. It has a nice curve in the back to offer some lumbar support.
