Review: these are my favorite pens in the world - i love this tip pens and once i found out there was a 0.35mm pen i had to get them they write so fine and smooth but you have to watch that they don't dry out. other than that these are great pens to use if you work in doctors office and have to write on a small are like a collection tube. the ink drys very fast and does not smear. ## Features - Pilot Hi-Tec-C 03 Gel Ink Pen, LH-20C3 - The diameter of a lead : Micro Fine Point 0.3mm, Color : Black Ink - Won the Good Design Award in 2012, natural ball rotation with less friction area than ordinary ball point pen is possible - Value Set of 5 ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06Y3QXBC2 | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #65,024 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #2,278 in Gel Ink Rollerball Pens | | Body Shape | Round | | Brand | Pilot | | Brand Name | Pilot | | Closure Type | ball | | Colour | Black | | Country of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 681 Reviews | | Drill Point | micro fine point | | Grip Type | Smooth | | Hand Orientation | Left | | Included Components | 5 Pilot Hi-Tec-C 03 Gel Ink Pens | | Ink Base | Oil | | Ink Colour | Black | | Item Diameter | 0.3 Millimetres | | Item Dimensions | 13.6 x 6 x 1.6 Centimeters | | Item Weight | 59 g | | Line Size | 0.3mm | | Manufacturer | pilot | | Material | Gel | | Material Type | Gel | | Model Name | LH 20C3 | | Model number | LH 20C3 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Writing | | Special Features | Gel ink | | Style Name | Contemporary | | UPC | 191308002343 | | Warranty Description | no warranty available | | Writing Instrument Form | Roller Ball Pen | | Writing Technique | gel ink | | Writing instrument form | Roller Ball Pen | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Pilot - **Colour:** Black - **Ink Colour:** Black - **Writing instrument form:** Roller Ball Pen ## Images ![Pilot Hi-Tec-C 03 Gel Ink Pen, Micro Fine Point 0.3mm, Black Ink, LH-20C3, Value Set of 5 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51f9GSDK1nL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is the ink waterproof when dry? I want to use with watercolor or markers.** A: It's not water proof at all. if your doing water based art (like watercolor) with it you'll have to digitize and then print with a pigment based ink, or do pencil and then final lines over it. These pens are incredibly smooth compared to any other sub 0.38mm pen I've used. There's almost no stop start in the ink flow, which is a rarity in this catagory. **Q: Can the top be unscrewed and the ink fillers taken out?** A: They can be refilled. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ Fine tip but low density ink. *by W***H on 3 August 2026* The ink is pretty weak. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ these are my favorite pens in the world *by D***D on 9 February 2025* i love this tip pens and once i found out there was a 0.35mm pen i had to get them they write so fine and smooth but you have to watch that they don't dry out. other than that these are great pens to use if you work in doctors office and have to write on a small are like a collection tube. the ink drys very fast and does not smear. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these! *by T***I on 7 August 2026* These are my new favorite pens!
