Glasses rest on the bridge of your nose. This eye patch goes over the bridge of your nose and is also concave and thick. So even though I don’t wear glasses I’m pretty sure they will not work. **Q: Does it completely block out all light?** A: Yes **Q: Will this protect while sleeping?** A: I recently had cataract surgery and this patch does not provide the protection I needed the first week post-surgery (I was provided with a hard plastic disk that had to be taped in place). This patch can be easily moved out of place by normal head/pillow friction while sleeping (you can, to a degree, make the patch's band tighter but it's still not very anchored). The patch is also very flexible and it only takes a small amount of outside pressure for the inside of the patch to come in contact with the eye/lid. **Q: Can you eye remain open with this patch on? also does the material breath or does this cause the area covered by the patch to sweat?** A: The patch has a concave shape so your eye can remain open with this patch on. The material is satin-like and is constructed with slight padding to protect the eye, so it is not mesh where air and light can travel through. It didn't for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very comfy *by K***R on July 28, 2025* I get migraines constantly, with most of them starting behind my right eye—it’s been this way since I was a teen and I’m almost certain it’s due to Binocular Vision Disorder. I can’t get assessed for that at the moment, so in the meantime just wearing my glasses will eventually set off a migraine. And I discovered that covering my right eye can relieve the migraine so much faster than just painkillers and rest alone.
