The end cap of the storage tube is designed so that it can be used to secure the 2 alignment rods together at right angles to each other if required for training purposes. **Q: i realise that neither end has a point for sticking in the ground. is it possible to trim them?** A: I imagine just remove the end cap and stick in the ground.
