Does this have any protections / warrenty concerning this issue?** A: If I had to guess those that are experiencing clogs may not be using true olive oil. The olive oil business can be a bit sketchy. If you have trustworthy Olive oil brand you probably don't have anything to worry about. That may be why some have problems right away while others have been using it for years with no problems. **Q: Can it be cleaned? Seems to plug at random..** A: I have not encountered that problem. My EVO's work every time. Are you sure the sprayer is set to spray not off. There are 2 spray positions & 2 off positions. As for cleaning, if you are using it for oil a drop or 2 of dawn & very warm water. Shake it up and spray it to break up any buildup in the sprayer. Then rinse the container thoroughly with cold water, then partially fill with cold water and spray the water until all the soap residue is expressed from the nozzle. **Q: Can I use it with vinegar?** A: Absolutely. One of our favorite ways to use the EVO is for spraying balsamic vinegar onto salads and other foods. **Q: Does the bottle or handle leak when you spray?** A: No it has not leaked and I have really liked it. These will not mist an average viscosity oil, but personally, I don't find very appealing the idea of olive oil mist eventually settling everywhere, or even breathing it!
