A wonderful way to monitor someone when you need to know they are trying to get up from their bed. As soon as their weight is removed from the pad, it sends a wireless signal to the pager/alarm which can be up to 300 feet or 90 meters from the pad. You can even take into the garden or in the garage and still receive the signal (always test thoroughly before use to make sure that you receive the signal). If you patient rolls over in bed, the system will not sound. It is only when they lift their weight from the pad completely. Note: If you patient is particularly light in weight, we recommend that you place the pad under their bottom.
