She has never pretended to be a person before so this story and the character of Pearl has obviously stuck with her. We read this book in the library together and we liked it so much that I brought it. I like that Pearl is a good role model for young girls, the story is fun and the illustrations appealing to young children. We’ve been reading Zog (the 1st book) to her since she was 2 and she asks for this one regularly too.
