Far more robust than machines aimed at cake makers and I suspect will last longer. I was very pleasantly surprised just how small this is, got the impression it was much bigger; it ain't. Quite petite and rather cute. This machine also allows more control for the airbrush painter and has a gizmo to remove/collect moisture from the airflow which can cause spotting. Airbrushing takes practice and I'm still a novice but I would certainly recommend this machine over the ones I've seen aimed at cake makers, if only for the price.
