Review: My little girl LOVES this. - My girl got this for Christmas, and she's over the moon so far. It's basically a small thermal printer - a till receipt printer in a fancy box. The thing looks pretty sturdy - gives a nice reassuring clunk when shut properly and is simple to use. The app isn't great but it's ok. It would be nice if there was a version for PC/Linux but, never mind. You can connect any Apple or Android device to it, so that's good. You can print photos from your cloud storage onto it, and they actually turn out surprisingly good quality. There are all sorts of gimmicks and tools and features in the app to explore, and she had a ton of fun playing with it. It's surprisingly fast and the best thing is that because it's a thermal printer, it doesn't take ink - so you won't go through a small fortune in ink because your kid likes to print out endless pictures of cats. Paper is pretty cheap, so is sticker paper and for the price, you can't complain. My only negative, is that the manual is super tiny - like spy-camera tiny. It would have been nice to provide a link (QR code) to a downloadable copy. My work-around was to scan it in, enhance it and print it out bigger, so my ancient eyes could read it.
Review: Mini printer - So far so good, printed on the paper well, easy to use, comes with 4 rolls non stick paper rolls and one already in the machine, you do have to charge before first use (hour) just ordered sticky rolls as I need stickers for my jars ☺️ no complaints at the mo and got it in a sale price (bonus), nice and small, it's a lot easier to use than a previous one I had, would recommend buying.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fun toy which does have some creative possibilities

I enjoyed using this printer. Whilst you're not going to print out anything suitable for the family album, it does have a charming quality. You get better results with certain papers - the stuff that comes with it isn't much cop, you'll tend to get faded-looking images. I have found that thicker sticker paper rolls work best, often providing bolder images. I have experimented with breaking images down into long strips (on a computer, in an application such as Photoshop) and printing the strips, to build up a larger image. This does work, although it's not without issues. Most notably, the print head gets too hot on a very large print, and will simply stop. It then restarts when cooler, but the print is ruined. I have had some success with cooling the printer down in the fridge, and keeping it in the fridge whilst printing. I don't necessarily recommend doing that, since I don't know how it'll affect the batteries or electronics, but it worked for me. Of course, it's also fun to just print some pictures onto quality sticker paper and stick them over every available surface. I've found the sticker paper fairly resilient, unless it gets wet. All in all, this is a really fun device at a very affordable price.
