My son loves looking at it and frequently announces that he knows what some multiplication fact or other is whilst we are out and about or in another room. It is also fueling his interest in big numbers "I know what 9x90 is..." and it's fun looking for patterns in the numbers too. I now don't think it was expensive for what it is at all! Review: Thoroughly recommended in a family environment - I bught this for my daughter age 6 to help her with her arithmetic - she's not at learning tables stage yet, but now understands the principles . I find it a great aide - and am sure that by simply having it nearby a certain amount of the early principles goes in by a sort of osmosis so that later when she does have to learn tables she won't have to try too hard.
