The jars themselves have a good finish and a plastic seal around the top to make the lids sit tight, allthough not completely air tight, I would guess, without actually having tested it. Unfortunately they are not stackable. Nobody had claimed that they would be, but I just had the belief that they would. If you need this feature there are other similar jars for sale at desertcart that are claimed to be stackable. They were incorrect so now I am stuck with admittedly a nice glass jar but no use to me. The actual outside dimensions are height 19.4 cm, square width and depth 11 cm. The inside is obviously smaller. The advertised sizes were 26.8 x 21.4 x 21 cm so it is a lot smaller than they said.
