You could probably use it to put a charge intobthe battery for 10 mins, remove and then start the car **Q: I'm confused. the cables are rated at 15 a, but it comes with a 20 a fuse??? surely that's the wrong way round.** A: No not really as the fuse would still blow before the cable melt. I use mine mainly to convert the end lead on various Battery Chargers from Cigar lighter ends to clip on leads. I have to keep various batteries charged up when I am not using them and these make various of my chargers more versatile. They are also useful for powering handlamps and various other equipment, direct from a car battery.
