I have a 9V 500ma supply will that work?** A: 9v power supply will do the trick. The unit draws only 25-35 milliamps so your supply will be big enough. I think it needs to be centre positive. If you plug in and it doesn't work you might have to cut the wires on the power supply and rejoin them back to front. A regular 9v battery should last you around 10-12 hours with continuous use. **Q: Does anyone use this with a tube amp?** A: I use mine with a Marshall acoustic amp and it is a good preamp and eq for electro/ acc guitars **Q: I have a Taylor with magnetic pickup going through a Fishman Loudbox Mini. I need more volume without feedback. Will this work?** A: It will provide more volume and can be adjusted for EQ, so you should be able to roll back any frequency that is feeding back. I do find the sound becomes quite middle-y and a little bit muddy (like you get with tube compression), the more you try to raise the volume. There is a blend control to mix the natural sound of the guitar with the "processed" sound of the behringer, but to maximise volume you have to set this to full on to processed sound. The sound is a matter of taste, I only use this device when playing solo's to give me a lift, but do find the guitar ends up sounding more like an electric guitar (humbucker/neck position'ish).
