However one thing I don't think LG have tested is that when someone sends me a message on my LG G6 mobile through WhatsApp there is a temporary dead spot in the sound transfer. So if you are listening to music from the TV there is a 3 to 5 second blank on the sound. If LG are monitoring this please test it with both the G6 and later model mobiles. I was listening to a Blu-ray music disk. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bargain and sounds great (to my simple ears) *by W***0 on 12 September 2019* This is my first move into having a sound bar having loved my 41 years only using a TVs build in speakers. I did a heap of research into which one to get and ended up choosing the LG SJ3. I had a limited budget spare for it which eliminated quite a few more premium soundbars and I also have an LG TV, so thought that it’d sync up together. I’m far from a sound expert, but am really pleased with the quality of these speakers compared to my TVs internals. The SJ3 came with the sound bar and a wireless bass speaker (which the photos didn’t really show). Linking up to the TV to the two speakers was very easy using an optical cable which I bought separately (only a couple of pounds on Amazon) and I switched the TV’s settings to external speakers. The base speaker is wireless and I was slightly concerned there might be a slight delay between that an the optically wired soundbar, but I’ve not noticed any delay or problems. The sound is great and adds a more immersive base and clarity compared to the internal speakers. We watch quite a few films and football matches, and the better sound quality really improves the experience. I’ve also used it on several occasions to listen to music via Bluetooth through my phone. Again, compared to the Google Mini speaker I’ve used in our sitting room to listen to music, the soundbar sounds so much better. There are two main setting we listen to which are adjusted on the remote. Cinema for the more bassy Sound or standard. You can also raise and lower the base speaker independently depending on how much you like your neighbours. I’m sure if you spend hundreds of pounds more you’ll get a better audio experience, but for the money this LG soundbar sells at, you can’t go far wrong.
