My work port replicator has a desktop amp, the other port replicator has a sound bar and the AV receiver is 5.1. This little bad boy means i can just switch between speakers depending on what I'm doing without unpllugging cables. The only negative for me, is that the ports are the wrong way round for the dials. if it's sitting on the desk you're more likely to want the outputs going out from the rear and the inputs at the front, but the outputs are at the front. It cannot mix or play two inputs together. I use it in reverse, with the audio from my computer connected to the OUT jack, with computer speakers connected to A, and headphones connected to B. Works great! **Q: Can I turn off switch and hear or overlap all three input devices (computers) at the same time?** A: There is no off position on the knob, you can only switch between the 4 inputs, just one at a time, you cannot overlap or channel more than one at a time. This is a very solid high quality audio switch, I use it for my turntables setup. **Q: Does this support 4 pole? Specifically can a headset with a mic be plugged in to an output and transmit to an input computer?** A: I am fairly but not absolutely certain the answer is no. I don't particularly want to disassemble mine to check for sure but it's open construction gives some visibility into how many solder connections there are to the input and output jacks. Between that and what people say about it comments, and the product description -- pretty sure, no. Mutually agreed on a return and refund. Earlier: The product is not functional, as there is a serious interference of the other connected inputs. Tested with other setups without this product and the interference is not there.
