A: This is a plug in wired cheap headphone with no battery.

It is a reasonable purchase in this price range if you want a basic simple wired headphone.

**Q: Is the plug straight or curved?**
A: the plug is straight.

**Q: will it work with my mac?**
A: On my Mac bought last year I think you would just plug it in where the speaker plug goes so it should work but why don't you just call Apple to be sure.
