It is used to give a traditional Maharashtrian touch to various chicken, meat and fish curries The Koli masala is the reason that every dish made by this fishing community is a riot of flavor and taste. Koli Masala is made by members of the Mumbai-based Koli community using 27 spices and a secret recipe known only to them. The masala can be used for all types of seafood delicacies and is hand-pounded at home with no added preservatives. Storage Instruction: Store in a cool and dry place. After opening keep it in an airtight container Agri-Koli Style Spicy Mutton Gravy First wash the meat with clean water and marinate it for half an hour with turmeric salt. Ginger-Garlic, Coconut, Cilantro should be chopped. Put oil in a pan and fry onion. When onion is well fried, add coconut, garlic, cilantro and marinated mutton. Cover and cook for 45 minutes. Finely chop onion and cilantro and return to the pan. Put oil in a pan and add chopped onion and cilantro. Add GW Khamkar Agri-Koli Masala. Saute the mixture well. Then add cooked mutton. Add salt as required and add hot water. Mix all the mixture and let it boil for 20 minutes. Serve hot.

Since long i was in search of good home made masala and i randomly found this product on amazon. I ordered 1kg and super happy with taste and going to always order in bulk next time, its exactly the taste how my mother and granny used to make at home. I just felt the one point down that masala looks too much red when added in vegetables which due to which i suspect that color might have added to get nice look but if thats the case please do not add the color, even without color this masala has magic authentic malavani taste and people want to have good color to food its always available in market as per their prefrences.
