An absolute delight for fans of The Walking Dead and in an easily digestible format. I won’t review the content as that’s has been covered before in other reviews, but a strong recommend from myself. Though brace yourself for the size of this mammoth collection, you may want to buy a memory card to go with it… or several. I love the new arch villain the Negan, psychopathic, darkly humorous and a joy to behold. The action doesn't allow for as much character development this time as this is a very fast paced set of issues mostly following the insane war Rick and the crew have against Negan and his group the Savoiurs. Obviously not being bound by television censorship boundaries the comic is a much more violent experience and as much as I enjoy the television series the comic is the real Walking Dead. This compendium mostly follows the war against Negan and the rebuilding of civilisation after the war and the emerging of an even more dangerous enemy that closes the compendium with a jaw dropping shocker.
