In the summer I work in the yard and maintain my pool. The pool deck is a very rough washed pebble concrete. In the summer previous cane tips would last about 6-8 weeks caused by primary wear around the pool. This summer I opened the pool late April coinciding with replacing my cane tip. It's now 12 weeks later and there's almost no wear on the tip. I compared the old tip (I still had an unused one) and new tip and there is actually more mass to the older one. ???? I can only assume that the new tip rubber is denser? better quality? Whatever the reason it lasts and lasts.
