Other cables and adapters would connect initially but during playback would disconnect intermittently and there was often popping and cracking when many notes were played together. These issues were not present when using this cable, this cable has worked flawlessly and the connection has remained stable. I never appreciated cables could be so different. It’s not cheap compared to some others but there is evidently a sound reason for the higher price as it actually works and overall is good value if you need a reliable connection. So if you have a CAD program and draw something to be cut on the Cricut machine, you could hook straight to the machine and cut your design. **Q: Will this work with the iconnectaudio4?** A: We found the iconnectaudio4 doesn't have midi interface. Maybe it can't. **Q: Does anyone know if this works to attach to your printer and be able to print from your iPad?** A: I am assuming this has the same support and same function as Apple's USB camera adapter. Unfortunately IOS only supports a handful of protocols over USB and printing is not one of them ( you need to buy an air print enabled printer $$$, and for mobile use a Mobile router as printers aren't set up for easily changing the Wi-Fi ).
