My daughter loves tuna sandwiches and the best way to break up the tuna is with your hands. It tastes much better that way. I'm not an expert and it may work, so you could try it. **Q: Does this work well for mashing cauliflower?** A: If you want to mash up cauliflower this would work excellent in my opinion. It does a great job on potatoes and cauliflower that has been cooked is softer than cooked potatoes. **Q: How tall is it? I do 10 lbs of potatoes at Thanksgiving and use a large stock pot. Need it tall enough to not have my hand in the hot potatoes.** A: It isn't tall enough for that. Mine will allow me to mash potatoes in a 2 quart sauce pan with ease.
