I had done speech therapy as I child, which helped me somewhat, but I was still struggling, and stuttered through my teens and early 20's. I came across the first edition of Lee's stuttering book a few years ago and it has been a life changer for me. I did the exercises shared in that book sincerely for months. I could see signs of progress slowly and steadily. After a few months of dedicated practice, my fear of speaking had diminished tremendously, my confidence soared high, I barely had any stuttering incidents. It was pretty surreal. Going from stuttering every few words, to going days and later weeks without stuttering was insane. Truly changed my life! I now feel more confident in talking with people and just generally more confident too, which in turn, not surprisingly, has positively impacted every area of my life. This is a much shorter version of Lee's original book, and teaches all the key practices and methods in a much shorter and simpler format. I loved Lee's original book, since it changed my life, but I like this one even more since it summarises all those methods/insights in 25% of the pages. I know how painful stammering can be, and how debilitating it can be for ones confidence, but in this book Mr Lee has prescribed a way to get past it. Read this book, start doing the exercises daily, have belief and you too will see a huge improvement in your speech and confidence. Review: Another Great Read - I’ve read all Lee’s books on stammering & this might be my favourite. To my knowledge his work is the only work to actually commit to stopping it & his methods actually work!
