I decided to do some research and found that ~60% of urine dip-tests come back negative, even when there is infection, which I definitely though was the case with myself. I found a blog post about D-mannose and how it was a life-saver, so thought it couldn’t hurt to try it. I’ve been taking it 3x a day for 3 days so far, and my symptoms have ENTIRELY disappeared, I’m amazed! I’m lowering my dosage to 2x a day now since I’m completely better and then plan to take it 1x a day for prevention after that. This stuff is amazing! A little pricey but honestly it’s worth it if you are struggling with cystitis and don’t want to be on antibiotics/can’t get antibiotics.
