They love them so much, but were getting tired of the same ol' same ol' belgium waffle shape. Naturally I went to look for a fun kids option and this one fit the bill. It's relatively simple to fill, you just need to take your time pouring. I use a measuring cup and that helps me pour with ease. The waffles cook up nicely and evenly brown. I do not flip them as it's not necessary (in my opinion). We really enjoy them when they are nice and golden on the outside and pillowy soft inside. The plates aren't removable, so that's a slight negative, but they are still easy enough to clean up.
