It has a much higher voltage insulation rating, however I used it in a 3000 volt transmitter power supply. Your voice coil (not used as a power supply speaker choke coil) application can use either one. Tony **Q: Can be removed for resoldering?** A: When cured/dried it is very tough and cannot be removed by any solvent I know of.
