Product Description The MDF Tromner Hammer (aka Tromner or Troemner) is a versatile 3-in-1 dual mallet-type reflex hammer designed for eliciting myotatic and cutaneous responses in adult and pediatric patients. This popular reflex hammer was invented by Ernst L.O. Trmner, MD, a director of the Neurological Hospital at St. Georg and professor at the University of Hamburg. Head: The balance-weighted stainless-steel head is outfitted with large and small mallets constructed of soft TPR for precise percussions. Handle: The weighted stainless-steel handle is precisely balanced for increased control of force for percussion. Review: Makes me weak in the knees! - As a GP trainee my Clinical supervisor felt this was a bit over kill but it is nice to not have to run around the wards for one (and not find it) and also great not to use my stethoscope. The actual hammer it self feels of a very high quality. One would think you couldn't get excited by a tendon hammer .. but you can... Reflex's have never been so much fun! It consistently provides all the reflexes and has a not too sharp plantar reflex tip as well as a pead sized rubber tip too. Been waiting for this all my (medical) life.

A: It’s steel. You can engrave it if you have proper tooling

A: Yes. But I lost them right away
