I read the reviews and I crossed my fingers and bought it.Delivery was fast and I was able to easily put it together with a little help from my hubby. He had to come in and use his strength to tighten all the bolts. Once it was assembled I immediately felt the difference between this bench and my other bench. The Lusper bench was way, way more sturdier and definitely had a better quality feel to it. I’m currently doing more of a light weight lifting program in my gym garage so I doubt I’m going to ever max the weight limit out on this bench but I feel a lot more secure knowing I can load it up without the squeaking of my older bench. That squeaking noise always worried me mid workout since I was worried it would collapse out from underneath me. Overall this was definitely a great purchase. It exceeds my basic weight lifting needs and outfits my home gym with a sturdy reliable bench. I’m short and the back is a bit tall for me but it doesn’t bother or hinder me in any way. I got the 800lb version because I liked the system it had for adjusting the incline and seat better. After using it a few weeks I think it is stable enough to do light to medium dumbbell work. The bench seems sturdy enough but it is not completely stable and solid especially in any incline position. Depends on your tolerance for a little wobble while lifting.
