The write speed suddenly drops from 90-100Mbps to 20-30Mbps for few seconds. These are not random files with differential file size which can effect write speed. Most of the files were Blu ray Movies above 10-20GB. I tried to copy these files to WD Passport HDD no issues found. WD Passport HDD write speed is between 80-100Mbps Also, the default 256bit hardware based encryption software takes additional time to unlock the drive as compared to WD. The build quality of this hard disk is excellent compared to WD Passport. I don't know if this issue with my unit.
