Product Description ------------------- The Ltl Acorn 6210MC is a portable infrared trail camera, it offers long running time, HD 1080P video resolution & 12MP photos (interpolated from 5MP). Often known as a game camera, scouting camera, hunting camera or wildlife camera trap - this device is also used extensively for video surveillance in remote areas where connection to mains power is not possible. Thanks to the built in infrared, it can capture video footage & photos in complete darkness or daylight conditions and will only do so when motion is detected. The camera holds 12 AA batteries maximum but can run off just 4. It is possible to obtain weeks or even months of running time dependent upon how you have the camera set up, how often it is being triggered and what sort of conditions it is being triggered in etc. Batteries are not included but battery choice is vital for the efficiency of your camera. DO NOT USE ANY BATTERIES WITH AN OUTPUT RATING OF LESS THAN 2500mA. The Ltl Acorn 6210MC can take photos of 12MP (interpolated from 5MP) quality or record video at 1080P resolution or a mixture of both. The Ltl Acorn 6210MC has pas protection, 32G max. SD card storage (SD Card not supplied but required), time & date stamping and a time lapse feature that allows you to tell the camera to take a photo/video at set intervals regardless of whether any movement has been detected (quite a good feature for the construction of a building over time for instance). All camera set up is done via the built in LCD screen and easy to use menu system. The amazing thing is that this feature packed trail camera comes in a palm size casing of aprroximately 14cm x 8cm x 6cm! The Ltl Acorn 6210MC can be purchased with either the standard 850nm infrared array or the covert 940nm infrared array. The 850nm infrared frequency offers a more powerful night vision beam and so the camera can see a bit further in dark conditions but the 850nm infrared does have a dull red glow when the infrared is in operation. The 940nm frequency infrared is not as powerful (about 30% shorter infrared beam) but does not have any red glow and so is often better for covert security surveillance or close up wildlife work (such as hedgehog filming for instance).
