Is this an applicator for lemon oil?** A: Yes it comes inpregnated with an oil or wax but not in a liquid form, when that dries out and is no longer effective after time, I use it as an applicator for lemon oil. TIP - Use it sparingly. It tends to wipe off a sealed (Glossy) maple fretboard which seems a waste of the oil but it does clean the strings. It soaks in and feeds a rosewood type fret board as well as cleaning the strings. You will definatley notice the speed difference when playing after application.
