Review: A good picture every time - I have had both the instax mini camera and now have the instax square printer and the printer wins hands down. I have had no issues with the printer, when I had the camera the spring broke and ruined a whole box of film. With the printer, every picture has the right lighting and angle and I can go back and pick the best pictures I took on my phone, which takes better pictures than the camera can. The camera was consistently was either over-exposed or under-exposed and the view finder was not the most accurate. With the printer, I can also make multiple prints of the same picture to share with my friends, whereas with the camera we had to take the same picture five times. The app initially is a little annoying as you use wifi to connect to it rather than Bluetooth and the editing tools are a little clunky but as I use other apps to edit and just the install app to print it works out fine. The film is slightly more expensive but after printing over two hundred pictures, and only charging it twice, it's a great value for money and I love the pictures I have.

Rather than just take a digital image and show the person their image to the rear of the camera I prefer to give them a digital print. With the SP-3 I can do that. The setup is easy and using the larger Square prints means that the recipient gets a larger picture. I take the picture on either my Fujifilm X-E3 or phone, and with the camera connected can sent the image straight to the printer and hay presto within seconds there is the colour print to hand on. If I use my mobile phone I call up the Instax app and again connect straight to the printer and the print is produced. Easy. I did have one issue when I first tried to charge the printer, which take easily available Fuji Lithium ion rechargeable batteries. Initially I put the battery in upside down an, of course it didn't charge. my fault should have looked first and followed the colour coding. Once inserted correctly then the printer worked fine.

**Q: 9 picture template is not on the app?**
A: there are loads of templates on the app - but it does print to mini

**Q: how do you print one photo on 9 prints like shown in one of the photos of the product?**
A: Firstly download the Instax SHARE app.
Once this is downloaded, please follow these steps:

Settings
Printer Model Setting - pick SP-3, click ok.
Select from Photos
Choose one photo
Click Template
Click Collage
Scroll to the far right
Then you can choose each photo in the 9 collage

Then connect to printer and print as normal

**Q: Does this work even if you are in the middle of nowhere without wi-fi connection?**
A: Yeah it has it’s own WiFi that’s how it connects to your phone so you have to disconnect from all other wifi services to use it anyway :)

**Q: Does it print extra wide like wide camera  or just square?**
A: Ya it prints like a square if you want the regular size you should look at the one that looks like it has lines it can come in pink and white

I have had both the instax mini camera and now have the instax square printer and the printer wins hands down. I have had no issues with the printer, when I had the camera the spring broke and ruined a whole box of film. With the printer, every picture has the right lighting and angle and I can go back and pick the best pictures I took on my phone, which takes better pictures than the camera can. The camera was consistently was either over-exposed or under-exposed and the view finder was not the most accurate. With the printer, I can also make multiple prints of the same picture to share with my friends, whereas with the camera we had to take the same picture five times. The app initially is a little annoying as you use wifi to connect to it rather than Bluetooth and the editing tools are a little clunky but as I use other apps to edit and just the install app to print it works out fine. The film is slightly more expensive but after printing over two hundred pictures, and only charging it twice, it's a great value for money and I love the pictures I have.
