I've been having eye troubles of late (started 2 months ago) which I suspect is a form of Dry Eye Syndrome and have been treating as such until I get a diagnosis which will hopefully be coming the day after tomorrow. Hot steamy showers and these compresses are the only things which really help me. I have one I keep in the freezer and another I keep for the microwave. The cold compress is simple enough you just put the mask in the ziplock bag (comes included) and throw it in the freezer until you want to use it, mine tends to stay cold almost indefinitely but I've never worn it longer than 10 minutes cold so... Heating it is also fairly simple, just throw it in the microwave for the time listed and it's ready, it stays warm for about 10-15 minutes. Let's be honest compresses are a pain in the butt to prepare, and even then holding them to your head for 15 minutes will require another one for your arm unless of course you lie down but who wants to lie down with a soaking wet cloth dampening their sheets or cushions?
