I loved it as soon as I took it out of the box because the color is rich it is really polished, and the edges of it are all rounded. It comes preassembled. We had it installed at ADA requirement height. It’s extremely water repellent. The water just beads up on it. I do squeegee it off after every use. We’ve had it for three months, but I don’t anticipate the wood rotting anytime soon because we take care of it. Even if we didn’t, it is really polyurethaned to a high gloss. I bought and had this installed because my husband has arthritic knees and I wanted him to be able to shower as long as he felt like it. I didn’t realize how much I too would enjoy sitting down for my whole shower. I paid $99 for this and it was a bargain compared to similar items on desertcart, and a favorite addition to our new bathroom.
