A: this door closer can be mounted 3 different ways to suit your needs. Top Jamb, Regular Arm or Parallel arm. It can be mounted on the inside or outside of the door depending on your needs. Suggest installation by a qualified installer.

**Q: Can this be mounted outside or just inside ?**
A: We used it outside.  Works well.

**Q: Will this slow the door from. Closing hard from wind?**
A: Yes, there are a couple of adjustments that you can make that will allow the closer to close as you like.
