It has to be literal magic, recently got into hobby machining which means old rusty stuff. A few sprays of this and a scotchbrite pad makes metal look almost new. Obviously it doesn't take out gouges, but it makes any steel I've sprayed it on shine again.It does leave a white waxy surface if you just let it dry, and if it remains wet it can stain black but just hit it again and your good!The rust preventative seems to work well to! No surface rust weeks after thin coat only applied. Also great on bicycle chains, hand planer surface, garden shears, and any tools that typically rust.
