Works perfectly, I have a light bulb at the top of my staircase that's like 20 feet up, and I'm too old to be climbing ladders like that. This did the trick with no problems at all. This is a great item, although it looks at first like it couldn't possibly work. IT WORKS PERFECTLY! I used it to change a pair of ceiling, recessed "eyeball lights" (or whatever they're called). The tiny little suction cup – which looks like it couldn't possibly hold on to anything – has a grip of iron, until YOU pull an equally tiny, long piece of string attached to its edge. If you have to walk away in the middle of changing a bulb, the suction cup will hold on to the bulb and just hang there until you return. I'M IMPRESSED! No standing on a stool, hauling out a ladder, wobbling dangerously, or calling a friend (or an electrician!), when you need to change a ceiling bulb!
