The pictures and descriptions do not stipulate this, and actually show a 3-pin connector on the battery pack itself. However this is just where the charger plugs in. The output cable does have a 2-pin terminal end as needed. Once installed and plugged in to the motors, they immediately began working as they should. The batteries needed charging when I received them. One took about an hour and the other took about 2 hours.
