Review: Excellent mount..well made...nice extras - Went looking through desertcart (like I do for nearly everything!) for a wall mount for our 60" 3D tv. Decided on this one after reading reviews on it combined with the price point as compared to other mounts in its class. Well...the tv is now mounted up in the corner of our bedroom! :-) This mount is very well made in terms of the quality of the metal used and the overall fabrication and assembly of the unit. It is finished nicely with a black coating. The arm moves freely with just the right amount of tension being maintained. The built-in level assisted in mounting the bracket to the wall correctly. The only point of advisement I would offer is to test fit the bracket that attaches to the tv onto the the wall mount arm BEFORE trying to put the tv onto the wall mount. My wife and I found out that one of the tabs that connects the bracket (read TV) to the arm was not bent out far enough to engage on the arm mount. This was determined after 15 minutes of wrestling a 60" TV 5 feet in the air trying to get in secured onto the arm mount. Not fun. A minor tweak of prying the metal tab out a bit more with a screwdriver did the trick but it would have been MUCH easier had I test fit the parts together first. With the adjustment made, the TV connected snugly to the arm mount and was further secured with two set screws. The wall mount has durable plastic covers on each side of the arm which unscrew to provide cable/wire channels to hide all of the feeder lines going to/from the tv (HDMI, power, CAT5e, Digital Audio, etc etc). This is a nice touch and makes for a very clean looking installation. Like I said, the 60" tv now sits securely in the corner of our bedroom and moves smoothly with little effort to a position that allows it to go flat against the wall. Even with a tv this size, the arm is solid with no flex, drooping nor sagging. An excellent wall mount for the money!!
Review: Great mount for corners - This bracket is the cats meow. I spent quite a bit of time trying to locate a corner bracket that would work smoothly with my Sony Bravia 46" LCD TV. I am not a real experienced do-it-yourself handyman, but mounting this bracket on a stud was pretty easy. All you need is a stud finder, 17mm socket and ratchet, a Phillips screwdriver, a drill with a 7mm (9/32") bit, and a couple of hours. Our TV weighs 37 lbs. and my wife and I were able to do the job by ourselves. If you can lift the 20 lb. bracket and your TV (separately) you should be able to install it easily with two people. The mount is very smooth, solid as a rock, articulates every which way and should work with any VESA compliant TV mounting holes. The other mounts I looked at seemed to always be missing an easy adjustment for one of the axes. This bracket also has a built in mounting bubble on the piece of the bracket that bolts to the wall. And, even if you don't get it perfectly level, the mount has smooth horizontal adjustment. IMO, it is the perfect design and also very strong. Buy it!

Decided on this one after reading reviews on it combined with the price point as compared to other mounts in its class. Well...the tv is now mounted up in the corner of our bedroom! :-) This mount is very well made in terms of the quality of the metal used and the overall fabrication and assembly of the unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Decent TV mount

The mount is extremely heavy! I love the features (turn and tilt). I wish it wouldn't skew though (turn clockwise or counter-clockwise when you are looking at it). A video another user posted said that this mount could turn all the way around and the TV could face the wall. I was looking forward to this feature, for use during parties etc, but my TV was too big to do this. I have a 55" TV, and this won't work for me. With 55"+, the corner of the TV WILL hit the wall if you turn it too much. I have a few small knicks in the wall from trying to turn the TV perpendicular to the wall. It will go about 80 degrees to the wall, but not 90 or more with a TV this size. A few other things to point out, the bolts for installing this mount are ridiculously large (understandably so). If you don't need to put the TV in a corner, just get a 2-stud mount. Also, the price was a little higher than I wanted. I would have been comfortable paying around $80, but was unhappy that it cost $120. I found similar mounts for way less, but these mounts only supported up to 50" TVs. Darn.. Finally, there was a huge scratch in the mount. I was very disappointed to see this. It didn't hurt the functionality, but it's a little bit of a bummer. I expect things I buy to be handled a little better. The installation wasn't too bad. You will probably need 3 people total to install the TV to the wall. Oh, and the plastic covering to hide the cords is nice, but is quite thin. I could only fit one cord through!
