Not for beginners but worth the effort. Review: A great remote, but the icons are different - This remote works very well, the range is good, working at hundreds of feet away, I have yet to find the limit. The remotes are ergonomic to hold, and easy to operate, and it's clear to the operator which buttons are for which functions (definitely important in this type of remote). The remotes seem well sealed, but never the less come with plastic weather covers and should hold up really well in harsh environments. There is a safety key which is magnetically attached at the bottom, and temporarily attached to the remote. This could be helpful for stopping accidental use, but will not stop someone who is motivated to use it. Installation was easy, the receiver takes a very wide range of AC or DC power to run. There's a clear note in the instructions that you must use a contactor with this receiver, though if adapting to a controller that works on low-volt signal connections that may not be the case. All cases including the receiver are rugged, clearly made for industrial use. While the photo shows arrow icons indicating direction, the unit that I received in fact had hanzi characters, which may be confusing depending on the operator. I would much prefer the arrows in the photos.
