The tools they provide definitely justify the price of it. the sand paper they provide is Emery cloth style with the strong flexible backing, the little calipers are great for sizing my chess pieces the same, the bead tools are fun to use, the turning tool is surprisingly good and makes quick clean work of my projects, and I'm exited to use the jade cutting bit. I would just toss the saw pieces unless you are super brave and experienced with wood working. The motor is stronger than you think it will be and vary stable on the table if you set it up right.
