Putting all my personal information into some app has never appealed; is it really secure, what happens if the vendor disappears, etc. While I cannot confirm the security of the encryption on this device, it appears to meet high standards, enough to deter the average thief anyway. I like the portability, the device independence, the build quality. Pricey though but what value is your information? Main concerns are the built in battery - what happens if it goes completely flat - and the robustness of the buttons if used frequently.
