This emulsifying ointment is a great substitute, and also helps to soothe the itchy, raw areas that occur during a flare. It's a must have for me to use in conjunction with my prescribed medication!

It didn't stop my itch for a long term had to reapply within 30 mins or less, did not stay on my body and didn't do much for moisturing my skin.
