Accept every way your customers want to pay with Square Reader: contactless, chip and PIN, Apple Pay, Google Pay and more. Pay the same rate for every contactless or chip and PIN transaction, with no long-term commitment. The reader connects wirelessly to iOS or Android devices with Bluetooth LE. The reader will remain connected to your device so no need to pair each day. It is powered by the free Square Point of Sale app to take care of payments, tipping, inventory, reports and more. The app also lets you take payments remotely, either over the phone or by sending invoices, and you can even build a free website with Square Online to manage your business and sell to anyone, anywhere. Review: Works well for busking - The card reader is really easy to use and super convenient! I was a bit wary because reading through reviews, I became aware that many people had issues with the required app and setup process but I've had no such issues. The reader works consistently and lasts me for a whole day out busking without having to recharge. It makes it much easier to take payments and donations without having to rely on people carrying cash! Its not rated for water resistance but a little rain exposure hasn't damaged it yet in my experience and I'll be using this for the foreseeable future!

The card reader is really easy to use and super convenient! I was a bit wary because reading through reviews, I became aware that many people had issues with the required app and setup process but I've had no such issues. The reader works consistently and lasts me for a whole day out busking without having to recharge. It makes it much easier to take payments and donations without having to rely on people carrying cash! Its not rated for water resistance but a little rain exposure hasn't damaged it yet in my experience and I'll be using this for the foreseeable future!
