If you need a switch that does PoE for things connected to it (APs, cameras, phones, etc.) you need a PoE switch (e.g. this one). If you need to power the switch itself over Ethernet you need a PoE-PD switch (e.g. the Netgear GS108T-200UKS). Please don't be so harsh, only trying to help in my replies. Yes it will give you 4 wired connections at 1GBs if your hardware supports it, or will auto negotiate speed if your hardware does not. The first 4 ports on this switch are POE (power over Ethernet if required, if your equipment is compatible, please see TPLinks website for details). It will route IPV6 and IPV4 with no problems. By default Windows 7 only uses IPV4 anyway all versions both 32 and 64 bit. So if you can access the internet with your present router config you will be ok. Ask me another question if you wish and will tell you how to make W7 cough up it's IP config. The AP's didn't come with the POE Injectors needed, so I used some that I already had but I didn't know they were limited to 100Mbp/s and I needed them to be 1Gbp/s POE Injectors. As it turned out I needed to replace the 2 switches that they are connected to, and so I bought 2 switches, this one the (LS108GP) and the (LS1210GP).
