This is a matte effect screen protector, which is just what I wanted as it dissipates reflections. Installation was a cinch, with clear instructions and good quality cleaning cloths (wet and dry!) supplied. I was even able to reposition it after not quite getting the correct angle first time, and still get the protector on with no annoying specks of dust that sometimes appear to create bubbles when repositioning.I'm using it with the Apple Pencil and it's a really nice balance of friction and glide.
