## Description

Our most popular wedge has a new look! The new Pinemeadow Wedge is the same great wedge that has earned the accolades from many. Although the logo and look is different the club shape and features are exactly the same. A dark tumble finished along paired with a big sweet spot have made this wedge so successful. The expanded face area makes this wedge the easiest to play out of the most difficult lies allowing the golfer to get under the ball but still have enough club to generate control and ball flight. This wedge is also available in an assortment of lofts (52, 56, 60, 64 and 68) for both RH and LH players.

Review: Put the work in, Reap the rewards - I have difficulty with high-lofted, soft-landing wedge shots around the green. Especially when I’m pitching from a short side approach, trying to gently let it roll out and tuck it close. I’ve tried everything with my 56° & 60° wedges, obviously using opened faces of various degrees. I’m just not good enough to be consistent. Until now. This is an excellent club for exactly the instances just described. The exaggerated loft at 68° is perfect. I’ve seen other lofts at 69°, 70° and 72°, but thought this would be ideal for me. And it has proven to be. Please note: Don’t just assume it will perform like your other wedges. As you can clearly see in the photos, it has no bounce. You have to practice with it. Practice, practice, then practice a little more. Put it in various lies and at various turf conditions & heights. This thing is like a razor. It’s great for really tight lies, so obviously, if your ball is sitting up nicely but you need to clear a bunker, give it some gas. Otherwise it will cut cleanly underneath your ball and it will sail maybe two feet. Also, it’s worth a try in the bunker. But DON’T open the face!!! You’ll never get out otherwise. Just swing like a normal wedge shot regarding direction - and maybe tighten your entry point a tad. All in all, it’s a great addition to the bag. But if I had to cut down to 14 for a particular round or event, I’m not entirely sure which one to sacrifice.
Review: Incredible value - performance well exceeds the price - Wow. This club is amazing. Played nine holes today. Hit a few shots with this club around the green and in a bunker and I was blown away by the performance - especially at this price point. It is easy to hit regardless of the lie. Got me out of a bunker in one shot (normally takes me 2 or 3). Nice high trajectory with a soft landing. Golf is an expensive sport, but this club is great value. I may buy the rest of the wedges!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is the length and flex for this club?**
A: This answer is for the 68 degree flop wedge. Shaft from hosel to end of grip 33”. Hosel to heel, 3”. Flex isn’t listed but feels like a normal steel non-stepped shaft. As a bonus response I can tell you I didn’t find the 68 degree wedge that helpful so it’s already out of my bag. Not a knock on Pinemeadow just on the loft. My regular wedges are Cleveland.

**Q: Which loft is recommended for beginner- intermediate? I know it's situational but what is everyone else using?**
A: I started with a 60 degree loft (although I'm not positive I would say it's pretty common) and added this one really just to see how it played because it was so affordable. I really like it. It allows me to swing harder on short range shots. Have to get the feel of it for sure, but I'm happy about the purchase. I'm a very basic golfer, get to go once every two months probably but for someone like myself who maybe doesn't have the most finesse it helps me appear to :)

**Q: I was sent the wrong club. How do I contact the seller?**
A: Contact Amazon. Do an exchange before 30 days.

**Q: Package dimensions?**
A: width and height are about 6 inches. length is about 5 foot.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well made club, price is right to try it out or just for fun, but ultimately the 68 degree version is a gimmick for on course
*by F***N on January 18, 2017*

I have the 68 degree version. It's hard to fault pine meadow for this, but ultimately a 68 degree wedge is just a gimmick. The number of useful shots you can hit with this club over the course of a round is very minimal. Because of the extreme loft, distance control with it is nearly impossible. I found myself wanting to hit down on the ball more, which, at that point, you might as well just hit a 64 or 60 degree wedge. The grip was kind of plastic-y with not a lot of tackiness. That being said, this is the right price for a club like this. I think it was worth what I paid, just for the novelty and fun factor. I occasionally play a par 3 course and I bring it to that. I also end up sometimes using it to practice with when my ball striking with my other wedges gets off. Because this club is so sensitive to ball striking up and down on the face , it really allows you to hone in and cut down on fat/thin shots with your other wedges if you practice hitting shots with this club.
