The Micro USB port on the projector is used only to charge the projector's internal battery. The USB port on the projector is used to provide USB power out only (to power HDMI streaming sticks for example, which require USB power to operate). Neither of these ports provide sound in or out of the projector. If you are connecting your phone to the projector with HDMI to HDMI, sound would already be relayed from your device through to the projector. Note: If you are using an adapter this should happen as well, provided that your adapter supports audio. From there, you could choose to use external speakers by plugging an external speaker into the 3.5mm audio output port on the projector. Or, alternatively, you could also use a bluetooth speaker connected to your phone instead. To do this, you will need to connect your phone to the projector via HDMI for the image, and then change the audio output selection on your phone to your bluetooth speaker. **Q: I don’t have a computer, how do I charge this?** A: This projector is charged using the Micro USB to USB charging cable that comes in the box. We needed something small rechargeable and not too expensive. Worth the money. The picture quality and brightness is sufficient for our needs. Movies and pictures look good. The picture quality would not be good enough for presentations with text on the screen. It is also not the best with video games. It must be completely dark to get the full effect. It can be projected onto virtually anything. The quality is still decent when we have it projecting larger than the recommended 50 inches. I’m sure there are higher quality options available, but not for this price. The price point was perfect and I feel this quality is fair for the price. As long as you have the right expectations for this product you will be happy. If high resolution and brightness is really important to you, you need to spend more to get a nicer projector. You hook up an HDMI source, turn on the power switch and go. I feel like this company offers real specifications on their projector. This 15 lumen unit is brighter than another brands "50 lumens" by at least double. The colors are more accurate than the other brand pico projector that I have.Great value for the money, I got it for a song, but even at $100-150 it is a good little projector. Only complaint is the focus wheel is a little fussy, but given the price I paid (got it on sale); I couldn't be happier. I have several people wanting to buy this unit off of me and I might just sell it to try out a better model from Miroir. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brightness, clarity, size of picture, adaptors *by D***S on August 19, 2018* So, I looked through many projectors, never owning one before. One of the reasons I purchased this particular projector (even though there werent thousands sold) is the name- i knew the brand. First off, I believe it states it only puts out 15 lumens which i was reluctant but turns out brighter than I thought. Im happy with the brightness. Use in a dark area. The quality is pretty good but Remember, its a projector, not a tv And this is not the $399 projector, its the $99 version. Anything cheaper, would be a waste of money in my opinion. The clatity is decent for the price as well. Im ok with it. Dont expect 720p, but its decent. In my situation. I purchased it for camping but have used it on my porch at night. If youre an android user, no- its not wireless but you can buy a micro usb to hdmi cord for roughly $12 and it works fine. I used a hdmi to usb-c for my samsung note 8. My google chromecast worked on it. Havent tried the firestick yet. In my opinion, the picture looks best if used at roughly a 32" screen but works further, its just dimmer and more blurry.
