I always pun things on top of it, it never stretches.Very good quality.Only downside is the rubber stands on the bottom came off after a period of time, two of four already gone. It might be caused by often dragging the MacBook while moving.Overall, it is still a very good cover protection for my Macbook. The lid cover is a bit soft to the touch. I am not saying it as a negative comment but just as an observation.
