I had seen numerous adverts for Project's own branded mixture -- I think it omits the alcohol component and is more environmentally friendly -- and decided to give it a try. It works perfectly. In fact, used with a very old Moth MkM II RCM it may even out-perform the old mixture. And it smells nicer -- quite pleasant, in fact. It even 'lathers' slightly while scrubbing the surface of the record and you feel the LP is getting a really good clean. With a large-ish collection of predominantly old and used LPs, all of which have been cleaned using a wet/vacuum RCM, I wouldn't be without a good record clean ing fluid and shall stick with this. Review: Easy to use - Got this to replace the origanal wash-it which you had to mix with distilled water, this is much easier and gives better results I also bought some cheap pipettes to measure the liquid out this saves a lot of waste and after youve done a few you can start to use less fluid.
